The Belgian Beetle Convertible Club (officially called the Kever Cabriolet Club België) was founded 30 January 1983 to defend the interests of Beetle Convertible and Karmann Ghia Convertible owners.
Our club welcomes all types of Volkswagen convertibles built on the basis of the Beetle chassis by Karmann and Hebmüller with an aircooled boxer motor.
One of the Club’s purposes is to safeguard the memory of these convertibles by enabling them to be kept on the roads.
Therefore, the club has set up an organisation offering its members the greatest amount of pleasure of owning a Beetle Convertible or Karmann Ghia Convertible.
The Beetle Convertible Club provides its members with useful information and services and is primarily a friendly club, bringing families together at special events.
Our club is completely independent from other Volkswagen and car clubs.
It is recognised and supported by D’Ieteren Ltd. (VW-AUDI importer and distributor) and is a member of the F.B.V.A. (Belgian Federation of Vintage Vehicles) and of the Historic section of the R.A.C.B. (Royal Automobile Club of Belgium).
The club expects its members to be friendly and fair towards the other members.
All members have a right to speak and to give their opinions on the club’s management and orientations.
Our club was designed and organised to serve its members.
